Frequently asked questions
If your question is not covered here, our support team is staffed by chemists and usually replies the same business day.
Why must my billing and shipping addresses match exactly?+
You can ship to a workplace, research facility, university or alternative receiving address while paying with a card registered elsewhere. Card payments are screened by our processor using address and security-code verification, 3-D Secure and risk scoring; an address mismatch is only one signal and never an automatic decline on its own.
What happens if I dispute a charge with my bank?+
Contact Peptideloungeshop@gmail.com before opening a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Almost every issue — a delayed shipment, a missing item, a damaged vial or an unrecognised charge — is resolved by support within one business day, and a dispute cannot be withdrawn once your bank has opened it. An order that is charged back is cancelled and any pending shipment is stopped. The account used to place the order is restricted from ordering while the dispute is open. Where a dispute is found to be illegitimate, the specific delivery location used for that order is added to our restricted delivery register and future orders to that exact unit are declined. Restrictions are unit-specific: a restricted apartment, suite or building unit does not affect neighbours or other units at the same street address.
Why can't I check out with my delivery address?+
We maintain an internal register of delivery locations associated with confirmed payment fraud or illegitimate chargebacks. A restriction applies to the exact unit — street address plus apartment, suite or building number — and not to a whole property, unless the entire property is itself the source of the abuse. Restrictions expire automatically unless recorded as permanent. If you believe a delivery location has been restricted in error — for example you have moved into a unit previously used by someone else — email Peptideloungeshop@gmail.com. We review every appeal and lift restrictions where the current resident is unconnected to the original dispute.
What does the purity percentage on each product mean?+
It is the percentage of total integrated peak area attributable to the main peak in an RP-HPLC run at 214 nm. It is a measure of relative purity, not of peptide content by mass. Net peptide content is reported separately on each certificate of analysis.
Is a certificate of analysis included with every order?+
Yes. Every product is fresh-tested before shipping, with a COA covering HPLC purity, ESI-MS identity, net peptide content, water content and endotoxin. Reports are attached to the shipping notification and remain permanently downloadable from the COA library.
Do these products require refrigerated shipping?+
No. Peptides ship lyophilised and sealed under argon, which is stable at ambient temperature for the duration of transit. Refrigerate or freeze on arrival, and store reconstituted solutions at 2-8 °C.
Do you provide dosing or administration guidance?+
No. These are laboratory reagents, not therapeutics. We do not publish dosing protocols, administration instructions or suggested quantities for any product, and support staff cannot provide them. Experimental concentrations must be determined by the researcher from the peer-reviewed literature under an approved institutional protocol.
Which payment methods are accepted?+
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus Apple Pay. We also accept Zelle, Cash App and Venmo transfers with an order reference in the memo, and Bitcoin, Litecoin, Solana and USDT on TRC20 or ERC20. Peer-to-peer and crypto orders enter processing once the payment clears.
How do I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?+
Apple Pay and Google Pay are wallet buttons inside card checkout — they are not separate options you select. When you choose Credit or Debit Card at checkout on a supported device, the matching wallet button appears automatically in the payment form: Apple Pay on iPhone/iPad Safari with a card in Apple Wallet, and Google Pay on Android Chrome with a card saved to Google. Wallet buttons only render on the live website, never inside embedded previews or iframes. To test them, open the site on your phone and complete a card checkout.
When will my order ship?+
All products are prepared fresh and third-party tested before shipment. This quality process takes additional time, so we do not publish delivery estimates or dispatch cut-offs. You will be notified by email as soon as tracking becomes available. All shipments are discreet and unbranded.
Can I return a product?+
Unopened vials with an intact factory seal can be returned within 14 days for a refund less a restocking fee. Opened or reconstituted vials cannot be returned. Products that fail independent analysis against their COA are replaced or refunded in full at no cost.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes, to most countries where the import of research chemicals is lawful. Duties and import compliance are the recipient's responsibility. Some destinations are excluded; contact support if your country is not selectable at checkout.
Can I order as an individual rather than an institution?+
Orders are accepted from qualified researchers and from institutions. In all cases the buyer must confirm at checkout that the materials will be used for in-vitro research only and will not be administered to humans or animals. We decline orders where the stated intended use is personal administration.
